In late 2019, Bickerton Masters formalised our alignment with Campbell Luscombe Architects. A Sydney-based practice established in 1977 by Leo Campbell and Professor Desley Luscombe, they are distinguished for work that leveraged design excellence to deliver long term value.

Campbell Luscombe Architects brings to the BM group over 40 years of experience in the aged care, retirement living and education sectors throughout NSW. The firm’s emphasis on design is reflected in the number of repeat clients and the array of significant awards, publications and exhibits. As a symbol of this merger, the Sydney practice will now trade as BM_ Campbell Luscombe.

“Alongside our office in Brisbane, we’ve had a presence in Sydney for the last few years in facilitating key aged care projects like The Village by Scalabrini. With Leo joining the BM_ team and taking on a role as Sector Lead in Aged Care & Retirement Living, we’re looking forward to a partnership that enables our employees to develop and learn under one of Australia’s most esteemed architects in the seniors living sector.”

– Andrew Masters, Managing Director at Bickerton Masters

“Ensuring the longevity of the relationship between the practice and our existing clientele was a desired outcome with this partnership. We’re also eager to see new opportunities to work on interstate projects and develop a national expertise that grows upon the work that we’ve established over the past 40 years.”
