Description
- The building reflects the school’s goals through integration of the lives of the students with the breathtaking natural beauty of the site, located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland
- Entry points merge with existing ground level and integrate with other campus facilities
- Building cantilevers over the sloping site and extends into the treeline. Generous covered south-facing verandahs enable students to occupy within a surrounding old-growth forest that envelopes the site.
- GLA’s are highly flexible and distinct compared to each other. Large glazing enables the classroom to be bathed in natural light, while reading nooks and operable walls help balance out the open planned collaborative work space.
