In order to further support the College’s pedagogy and align with their strategic direction, the development of these existing and additional learning spaces is flexible and innovative. This project included the redevelopment and refurbishment of the existing Hattah and Mungo Buildings, college library, and various middle-school learning and staff spaces.

Existing facilities were renewed through significant internal renovation. Building from the existing building fabric, the key concept for the project was to create a new college heart offering improved wayfinding and transparency between different cohorts. A new large wrap-around veranda created improved shading for the Hattah and Mungo Buildings and provide opportunity for mixed indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Since completion, the school has observed noticeable improvements in student behaviour, focus and engagement, due to the improved ventilation, lighting and acoustic conditions of the revitalized learning spaces.
